2026 All-Stars (Selective)

Each year, our local league chooses a Tournament Team (or All-Stars) of 10-12-year-olds from within the Majors division (Little League or 12U) to represent our league at the AZ District 6 tournament and compete against other local Scottsdale area leagues.  Post-season All-Star opportunities are also available for players 8-10 (10U), 9-11 (11U), and 13-14 (Juniors) based on Little League age rules.

THE BASICS
  • These are selective All-Star teams. The initial step is to register on our website to indicate your interest and commitment to playing if selected. Registering does not guarantee a spot on a post-season team.
  • Participation on the post-season MRLL teams will cost $250, but payment will only be required if selected to participate.
  • Note that players have to meet minimum play requirements during the regular season to be eligible for All-Stars.
  • The District 6 10U and 11U tournaments will likely be hosted by Scottsdale Little League at Scottsdale Ranch Park. The tournaments are expected to begin on or around June 8 and last about a week.
  • The District 6 LL (12U) tournament will also likely be hosted by Scottsdale Little League at Scottsdale Ranch Park. That tournament typically begins right after the 10U and 11U tournaments and lasts about a week and a half.  It may start around the third week of June and conclude in time for 4th of July.
  • The District 6 Juniors tournament will also likely be hosted by Scottsdale Little League at Scottsdale Ranch Park. That tournament will run alongside either the 10U/11U tournaments OR 12U tournament. Exact details have not yet been finalized.
  • The All-Star teams will begin practice after the SUSD school year ends, with the exact date determined by the managers (head coaches).

MORE DETAILS
The LL All-Stars are selected by a vote from the players' peers and coaches in early May, with some additional roster spots chosen by the All-Star coaches. The 10U, 11U, and Juniors teams' rosters are selected by MRLL's All-Star coaches. All team rosters are announced on this website by May 15

Participation on these teams requires a significant time commitment by the players and families involved in May/June practices, games, and other team events. If the All-Star team is successful at the District 6 tournament in June, players will be expected to be available for practices and the state tournament for their respective age division held in July. Arizona State Little League has yet to announce the locations and start dates for the 2026 Little League State Tournaments, but we do know which districts will be hosting:

10U | Hosted by District 3 | TBD | Start Date: TBD
11U | Hosted by District 13 | TBD | Start Date: July 17
Little League (12U) | Hosted by District 5 | Arthur Pack Regional Park | Start Date: July 6
Juniors | Hosted by District 7 | TBD | Start Date: TBD

Typically, all state tournaments are of the double elimination format, but sometimes may involve pool play depending upon the number of teams entered.

Only the LL and Juniors level state winners can advance further, as the 10U and 11U teams culminate at the state tournament level.

The winners of the state LL division advance to represent Arizona in the Western Regional held each year in San Bernardino, CA (August 8-14). The culmination of the International Tournament is the Little League Baseball World Series--featuring teams from around the world--held in Williamsport, PA (and televised on ESPN, August 19-30).

The winners of the state Juniors division advance to represent Arizona in the Western Regional held each year in Bend, OR (July 25-August 1). The culmination of the International Tournament is the Little League Baseball World Series--featuring teams from around the world--held in Taylor, MI (and televised on ESPN, August 9-16).

LOOKING AHEAD: If your child is selected to an All-Star team, due to strict residency and age limit regulations for the District 6 tournaments, we will need to collect a copy of your player's birth certificate and proof of residency for the duration of the tournament season this summer. If you used the school enrollment form for residency verification this spring and it rolled over from a previous school year, you will need a new one for the current school year. Once teams are assigned, our player agent will be in touch with additional information.
