The District 6 Little League Fall Ball program provides volunteer coaches with everything they need to create an environment where players will learn the skills of the game, while having fun and staying active. Parents and legal guardians of Fall Ball players are crucial to the extension of the program, and their satisfaction is equally important to its success. The outreach and inclusion of this fall season sets the foundation for continued participation in the local D6 Little League programs in the spring.

Fall Ball uses next season's league ages. For example, if your child will be an LL7 in the spring, he/she is considered at LL 7 for the fall as well. This allows the players to experience "moving up" before the following spring starts. 2027 spring league ages will apply.

If you wish to be considered to coach, or have already been appointed by your D6 league to coach a team, please fill out the volunteer coach form at the end of your child's registration. You will also complete a a free online concussion course and background check once per calendar year.

If you have a specific coach/teammate request, there is a field in the registration process to enter that coach's/teammate's name. Requests are not 100% guaranteed.

NEW THIS SEASON: In order to better balance the competitiveness of our Majors teams, MRLL players that are new to the Majors division will participate in a short evaluation on Saturday, August 15 (details to follow). Everyone is placed on a team! Majors players from other D6 leagues will be assigned to teams with players from their home league.

Practices will start in late August with games beginning in late September. Games will be completed prior to Thanksgiving, with the exception of our Majors players, who will participate in a Fall Stars tournament to conclude December 6. Game and practice days will be determined when registration closes. Games will take place at Cochise Elementary School, Cocopah Middle School, and Chaparral Park; we may have Laguna Elementary School and Scottsdale Ranch Park for a handful of games as well. Typically, Tee Ball/Farm plays Tuesdays and Saturday mornings, and Minors/Majors plays Wednesday or Thursday evenings + Saturday evenings. In all divisions, practices may fall on any day of the week except Sundays.

The league will provide jerseys and hats for each player and three coaches per team.
