At those events every player (in every age division) must bring the following: 
·       Your player’s ORIGINAL birth certificate to verify age.  
·       Your player’s proof of residency, which can be via two different methods: 

1)     School Enrollment form if your player attends a school within the MRLL (or NSLL) league boundaries.

(NOTE: It’s by far the simplest and preferred way to verify eligibility. Your player can use this form until you switch to a school outside of the boundaries*. Make sure this form has been signed by a school administrator.)  

* Note: If your player previously attended school within the MRLL or NSLL league boundaries and is now at a new school, and you also live outside of the MRLL/NSLL boundaries, you may use the “IId waiver” which is available by contacting our league President at [email protected]. 

2)     Alternatively, you can provide 3 eligible Form types of Residency Verification**

** Residence shall be established and supported by documents containing the full residence which includes parent(s) or guardian(s) name, street address, city, state and zip code information, dated or in force between February 1 of the previous year and February 1 of the current year, from one or more documents from EACH of the three Groups outlined below:

Group I

• Driver’s License
• School Records
• Vehicle Records (i.e., Registration, Lease, etc.)
• Employment Records
• Insurance Documents

Group II

• Welfare/Child Care Records
• Federal Records (i.e., Federal Tax, Social Security, etc.)
• State Records
• Local (Municipal) Records (that are not utilities)
• Support Payment Records
• Homeowner or Tenant Records
• Military Records

Group III

• Voter’s Registration
• Utility Bills (i.e., Gas, Electric, Water/Sewer, Phone, Heating, Waste Disposal)
• Financial Records (like bank statements)
• Medical Records
• Internet, Cable, or Satellite Records

Note: We apologize, but if you attempted to upload your child’s birth certificate or scanned copies of Address Residency documents during the online registration process, we still require you to bring the above documents to the in-person events.  

PLAYER EVALUATIONS

Every year MRLL holds player evaluations to ensure the teams in the Minors and Majors divisions are constructed as fairly as possible.  This year Player Evaluations will be held on Saturday January 25th and Cochise Elementary's Silver field (with a makeup date on Tuesday, Feb 4th in the evening at Chaparral Park).  All players wishing to play in the Minors or Majors Divisions (i.e. kid pitch, typically for ages 9-12) must attend one of the evaluations. 

Jan 25:
10am - league age 12's
11am - league age 11's
noon - league age 10's
1pm - league 9's (and any 8's who wish to try out)

Feb 4:
6pm - league age 9's and 10's
7pm - league age 11's and 12's
*Please arrive 20 minutes prior to start time

All teams are announced, and practices begin in February, with games beginning in March.
