Bats were blistered as McCormick Ranch LL 11u All Stars defeated Arcadia LL 13-8 in Tuesday’s game that actually finished on Wednesday due to delays caused first by a swarm of bees in the outfield and then neighborhood time curfew restrictions for field lights.

McCormick Ranch LL 11u took the lead for good with one run in the third inning when Keegan Bryant singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.  MRLL 11u tallied five runs in the fifth inning. Keegan, Josh Amstutz, and Ethan Shuman all drove in runs in the frame.

Vinnie Noble was on the hill to start the game for the local all stars. He allowed two hits and four runs over two innings, striking out five.

McCormick Ranch LL 11u had ten hits in the game. Ryan Carlson and Keegan Bryant each collected two hits to lead the McCormick Ranch LL 11u All Stars.

With the win, the Bulls earned the right to advance to the championship game on Friday night at 7pm. 

The 11u team still had one game to play on Wednesday however and demonstrated their offensive firepower in a tuneup for their championship rematch against Arcadia LL.  Although MRLL lost in a slugfest to Mountain View’s 11u all stars, MRLL racked up 13 hits in the game. Stefano Wood, Vinnie Noble, Marco Stratta, Keegan Bryant, and Reece Gallagher all managed multiple hits for McCormick Ranch LL. In fact, Stefano Wood led the McCormick Ranch LL 11u All Stars with four hits in five at bats.

Seth Stegman was on the pitcher's mound to start the game for McCormick Ranch.  Ryan Carlson, Stefano Wood, and Anthony Gilligan each contributed in relief for MRLL 11u.

A reminder that the McCormick Ranch LL 10u teams faces off in another rematch against Arcadia LL in their respective championship game as well on Thursday night at 7pm. Go Bulls!
