McCormick Ranch LL 12U All Stars were victorious over Arcadia Little League, 6-2 on Tuesday night.  With the win, the Bulls have secured a spot in the “best 2-of-3” championship series to be played Saturday, Monday and Tuesday night (if necessary).

McCormick Ranch was the visiting team and got on the board first in the second inning when Cade Huseth singled home Devin Long.  Truman Parker followed that with a single as well, pushing Huseth across the plate.  Parker would score one batter later when Nate Smith doubled him in.

The Bulls added another run in the fourth after Dean Ketcham reached base on a hit-by-pitch and scored on a hard hit by Trevor Green.  Jake Catalfio scored in the fifth inning after tripling on a crushing drive to left-center field.  Catalfio would get the final RBI on the night in the sixth on a single, pushing across Nate Smith.

Jack Lafflam led things off on the hill for the MRLL/NSLL 12U All Stars. He lasted three innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out six and walking one.  Jake Catalfio came in from center field to finish the game on the mound for the local Bulls.  Jake did not give up a run, striking out seven while walking just one batter and giving up two hits.

The Bulls totaled nine hits in the game, with Nate Smith and Jake Catalfio each managing multiple hits.  Smith led McCormick Ranch with three hits in three at bats. The local 12U All Stars didn't commit a single error in the field once again.

The Bulls play at 7:30pm on Wednesday night against East Scottsdale.  Saturday’s game will begin at 7pm against an opponent to be decided in the remining pool play  games.
